New York Farm Viability Institute Directs Innovation in Agriculture

The New York Farm Viability Institute offers several grant programs for applied research and outreach education to assist farmers in increasing farm profits. The Institute is committed to working with farms of diverse sizes, production practices and management styles, as well as regions of the state. The Institute works with farms in various sectors and commodities, including agro-forestry and natural resources, aquaculture, bioenergy, crops and forage, dairy, equine, fruit, green industry, livestock, and vegetables. The Institute believes that diversity is part of the strength of New York agriculture.

The Institute's grant programs emphasize different approaches to opportunities and barriers facing New York Agriculture.
