"Strengthening Cooperation - A workshop for new and emerging Farmer Owned Businesses"
February 21st-22nd, 2006
Holiday Inn Carrier Circle, Syracuse, New York

Overall participants evaluated this workshop as being very good, with some excellent speakers. The small group setting provided a wonderful opportunity for networking and a great training opportunity for new and emerging group owned businesses in New York State. Participants felt that as a result of this training New York Agricultural Producers would be in a better position to
- access new markets,
- improve New York producer profitability,
- develop new products,
- expand NY business enterprises and
- increase investment opportunities

Details of workshop including purpose, location and agenda can be found at http://aem.cornell.edu/special_programs/business_workshop_2006.pdf
